Day 3 Vancouver to Langley, BC

 44 miles, ascent 1,450 feet

Short on time,  I ate at a Canadian fast food restaurant named Tim Hortons. Tim was a famous Canadian hockey player of old. The food is probably no more healthy than American fast food, but riding we burn 5,000 calories per day, so riders can eat about anything they want in the quest to consume 5,000 calories. Tim Hortons has a promotion with Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber where Justin designs drinks sold. Here is a cup touting the Biebs.

For breakfast at Tim's, I had double double coffee (2 teaspoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cream), bagel BLT, and hash browns.

  1. Hi Jim, good start, (it’s Alison) and remember Timmy’s is as Canadian as lacrosse, hockey, and ‘eh’. We don’t really have a culture of donuts of our own, but I’d say Timmy’s is our. MacDonalds.
    Fair weather, my friend.

  2. I like Tim Hortons! By the way, I believe that fellow guarding the trail is named Richard, but some just call him Dick!
